  • Overview 

    Founder of Mondani Web, Author of Mondani Books & Editor of Mondani Magazine, the Luxury Watch Expert Giorgia Mondani was born in 1984, she grew up around wristwatches. Her father, Guido Mondani, is a world-renowned Rolex Expert, collector, and author. Her mother, Franca, was also involved in the family business, co-authoring books about Rolex and luxury wristwatch brands. In fact, it was her gesture in 1986 that changed the course of the family's story forever. As a young Italian girl, no one truly expected Giorgia to be in love with wristwatches or the business of it. Even her father didn't think she'd be interested as she famously admitted in a New York Times interview. Hence, an auction in 2006 that saw him sell 309 pieces of wristwatches in his collection. I'm sure he thought there was no one to pass on the legacy to. Meanwhile, Giorgia was secretly nursing a passion for wristwatches. But it was that singular event of 2006 that made her speak up.


    Before that time, she was a teenage tennis sensation and was listed among the world's best 400 players before the age of 19. After interning at Antiquorum for a year, she came back and joined the family business. That was more than 12 years ago. After working with her parents and co-authoring several books for a few years, she decided to find her own path. And she did. She is today a Rolex expert in her own rights, publishing several books on several models. But it's not just Rolex she's interested in. As she says, anywhere there's prospect and interest, she grabs it.


    Now almost 36, Giorgia is an inspiration to millions around the world. She created Mondani Web out of nothing but sheer passion, in-depth knowledge of watches, especially Rolex, a desire to change things and lots of trust in her abilities. But she also had social media. That was one avenue she took advantage of (and still does), with support from her husband Danielle Di Murro. She has an impressive 210,000 Instagram fans. Creating Mondani web meant she could now build a network of vendors and dealers and connect them to buyers and enthusiasts. She told Monochrome that she now has more than 240 dealers and about 40 partners on Mondani web. Giorgio is also the editor of the Mondani Magazine, an online publication on all things watches, events, auctions, and guides. She brings her wealth of experience to bear on that one. Mondani is an established author and a huge part of Mondani Books. She has written several books by herself and co-authored some with her father and mother.


    Giorgia approached us because she wanted to get verified on Google, Instagram and Youtube so she could build more brand credibility and position herself as an authority in her industry. 

  • Process



    We had an initial email conversation with Giorgia, where we identified her goals and requirements. On email, we discussed the PR strategy we would implement to help her get verified on Google, Instagram and Youtube within a time period of 90 days.



    Based on the needs of Giorgia, we worked with her to build out a roadmap of publications, a timeline, and a trajectory for success that will best elevate the digital authority of herself and her brand.



    We sent her a questionnaire that we would leverage to craft her content. Then, we began the process of content creation and getting her featured on top publications which we later used to get her verified on Google, Instagram and Youtube.

    Giorgia had a decent amount of press when she approached us to help her get verified on Google, Instagram and Youtube but we knew that she needed more press to get her Google & Socials verified. Our main goal was to craft a unique angle for her story and leverage that to get her featured on numerous mid-tier and top-tier publications. Getting to just mid-tiers wasn’t enough for google & social media verification, so we needed to leverage our network of connections to get her featured on some of the biggest media outlets that we have access to. After getting her featured on various outlets we had to contact the Google, Instagram and Youtube team and apply for her verifications.
